Yoga & Mindfulness Instructor, Pomroy Harmony & Wellness
Tina is a student and lover of life living a yoga lifestyle through practice, acceptance, humor, and compassion. Some of her roles include mother, grandmother, wife, yoga and mindfulness instructor, graduate counselling psychology intern, and business owner. She has been practicing yoga and meditation for 25 years and completed her 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training in 2015 with Shakti Yoga. She’s completed numerous yoga trainings, including over 100 hours towards her 300-hour Yoga Teacher certification, Chair Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Yin Yoga, Kids Yoga, Yoga for Stress, Therapeutic Yoga, Ayurveda, Yoga for Awakening, Yoga for Trauma, and Yoga for Addictions and Mental Health. She also specializes in mindfulness and has completed numerous trainings including the 16-hr mindfulness-based emotional intelligence training by the Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute in 2013 and is near completion of her 60-hour Certified Meditation Instructor program with the University of Theology. Tina is also trained in Usui Reiki Level II.
Although Tina has always been a wellness advocate, her background comprises science, business, human resources, leadership, coaching, and entrepreneurship. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce, ¾ of a Bachelor of Science, and a Master of Business Administration, is a Certified Mastermind Executive Coach, and is currently completing her Master of Education in Counselling Psychology and works as a Learner Wellbeing Consultant with the MUN School of Medicine. She continues to facilitate yoga and mindfulness retreats and loves to teach a class when the opportunity arises.
